Is it the same beach just different locations, or is it like 2 totally different beaches?

Yeah, it’s the same beach on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, but a different location. Sandbridge Beach is south of the popular resort beach in Virginia Beach. Sandbridge is way way more residential too.

My friend and I are leaving for basically our senior week at myrtle beach, we are going with my parents because they don’t trust us enough to let us go to the beach by ourselves. Apparently the place we’re staying at is in north myrtle beach, which I heard is full of older people and families. We were hoping to meet people like we did in virgina beach last year and find parties since its senior week, but if its full of families, then i feel like that might not be the case at all.

north myrtle beach is north of myrtle beach and is less crowded. yes, it is more family oriented. south myrtle beach is south of myrtle beach, but is still crowded, but not as bad as myrtle beach.

I am looking to create an ultimate playlist for our family vacation to the beach at Ocean City, MD. Songs that really get you in that relaxed-at-the-beach feeling. Can’t wait to hear your answers-thanks!

To the Beach debuts in-store on May 27th, 2010 in the U.S./Canada, as far as I know. There are preview parties at select locations on May 18th. Otherwise, it should be available online around May 25th.

This is quite the launch, with 31 products releasing all at once. You can think of the collection in two parts — the traditional color collection and a secondary bronzing collection. The packaging doesnt do anything for me either way; I dont find it particularly cheap or tacky, but it doesnt blow me away either. I like the mixture of products in this launchthere are some bright pops of color, subtler, more wearable colors, and everything in-between. I think its well-rounded collection thats perfect for summer (with the color selections), but its pretty wearable.

My boyfriend and I want to plan a week-long(ish) trip to the beach this summer within driving distance of our home in Georgia. We are already familiar with most beaches in Georgia and were looking at places nearby in South Carolina/Florida/etc.

Does anyone know of a relatively affordable yet nice (not trashy) beach in the area we’re looking? We’re college students so money is an issue. We definitely do not want to go to Myrtle Beach in SC or Panama City Beach in FL because they have gone downhill over the years.

Check out Tybee Island, GA or Hilton Head Island, SC.

My boyfriend and I are going to be in Manhattan next week and we’d like to go to a beach one day. Neither of us have been there so we really have no idea what to do or where to go. We’ll be using public transportation and don’t want to spend hours getting anywhere. Does anyone have any tips on a good beach near Manhattan that wouldn’t be too difficult to get to? Any information is much appreciated. Thanks!

Fire Island – LIRR from Penn Station to Bay Shore (1 hour) and a ferry (30 minutes). You arrive in the town of Ocean Beach, which is a 5-minute walk from the beach.
