I know that most of the large car rental companies require renters to be 21 or older. Are there any local companies that will rent a car to an 18 year old? Maybe even a car sharing company would. Zipcar requires members to be 21+.

We’re planning a family vacation for next year and would like to rent a house in Myrtle Beach or North Myrtle Beach. Does anyone know of any that allow pets? We would need at least 3 bedrooms and would like something beachfront. I have been searching the internet and I found a few, but if anyone has stayed somewhere with these ammenities in the past I would appreciate your input. Thanks!

Grand Strand Condos is right at the beach front, you might want to give them a call, as they have some properties that allows pet. (1-800-645-3618), I think is the number of the booking agent.
Lachicotte Company, have houses for rent, that allows pet, but I don’t think they are near the beach, don’t know for sure.
Affordable Family Resort, is near the beach, not sure if they accept pet.
There is also a company that I used last time www.usfreetravel.com. I am not sure if the resort they offer can accept pets, but they are cheap. I used them in Orlando, and I paid only $280 for 7 nights stay in a 5 star resort.

My fiance and I are planning to get married late this Fall. My family will be coming from out of town for the wedding, and we’ve thought about having a wedding in Galveston, on the beach, and renting a beach house in the same location.
Does anyone know laws/regulations in the Galveston area regarding the serving of alcohol at a beach home that is rented for a weekend, ‘noise’ regulations, etc?
I mean, we’re not going to have a huge crazy party, but we want our guests to enjoy themselves.
