im planning a summer vacation and i have a 15 year old girl and she is going to bring two friends who are also 15.
where would be more fun for them and have more things to do?
also where has more teenagers?
wildwood or ocean city?
thanks!
Wildwood. I am from there, (I don’t live there no more) but it definatley has more young people.
Ocean city does too, but there are too many tourists with younger children, or just elders.
Wildwood has lots of young people who grew up there and some that go there for vacation, and if you allow them, there are some local all ages clubs. Not many though.
And the people at Wildwood are MUCH more friendlier than the ones at Ocean City. OC is full of ignorant, stubborn, independent type people, which make you become independent. I’m sure the girls would have lots of fun at Wildwood..
Happy Vacation!
Can I make food at home and deliver to homes as a business and if so what license do i need to acquire?
Check w/ your local health department, and you may need a zoning law change to allow a commercial kitchen within a residential area. If you ignore the proper permits, expect someone to get sick from your food, and sue you to heck and back. (Don’t forget to get business insurance)
I only want to stay a couple days on the beach…I don’t have much money so I’m looking to just go to a campsite for a couple hours sleep. Was also planning on bringing a few beers to drink on the beach, but have noticed that some beaches don’t allow drinking…I just don’t know where to go!
You can go to Charleston South Carolina and stay at a Koa Kampground. You can either rent a cabn for $60 dollars a night or bring a tent for a much cheaper price. It is very close to Isle of Palms beach.
My boyfriend and I want to plan a romantic getaway (maybe a honeymoon) in the British Virgin Islands. All of the websites I have been to so far don’t seem to be legitimate, and I have heard of nightmare scenarios like vacation scams. I don’t want that to happen to me. My question is… Is there a website with a good reputation that can help us plan our dream vacation in the British Virgin Islands?
I wonder where you’re coming from.
If you’re from U.K., you can consider Newmont Travel as my ‘mother-in-law’ uses:
http://www.newmont.co.uk/
Or Opodo that one of my few friends there used recently:
http://www.opodo.co.uk/
If you’re from the U.S., I recommend Apple Vacations and here’s a link direct to British Virgin vacations with them:
http://applevacations.com/showDestination.do?command=showDestination&destinationCode=BVI
If from Canada, I recommend RedTag and a few others such as FareStore, Target Vacations and FlightNetwork:
http://www.redtag.ca/
http://www.farestore.com/
http://www.targetvacations.ca/
http://www.flightnetwork.com/
Hope this helps.
I am currently renting an apartment and my lease is up in July. Because of the economy and the rate of foreclosures, I hear that a lot of people (and banks/real estate agencies and associations) are leasing or renting condos, homes and townhouses. I am not looking for a vacation rental; I am actually looking to rent more long term, a minimum of one year. Should I be contacting a real estate agent and will they charge me for the search? How can I find these listings?
Go to craigslist and select your area. Then click on housing. That is a great place to start. Many homeowners use that site. I’m one of them.
Word or mouth or visiting the potential location is another great way to let people know that you are looking for a new place.
We need to buy a couch and chair for our condo at the beach that will be used as a rental. We want to buy something that is of decent quality so that it lasts more than a season or two. We want furniture that will not get destroyed easily from wet bathing suits and spilling of drinks.
Your best bet would be outdoor furniture with a metal or wood frame and separate cushions with weatherfproof fabric or machine washable zip-off covers. There are hundreds of varieties to choose from nowadays. I’ve got 2 outdoor porches and a patio and I’ve gotten outdoor furniture for them that is so comfortable and attractive that I use it indoors during the winter as well. Besides food and wet bathing suits you have to deal with sand — frame and cushion furniture won’t collect sand down in the upholstery like regular sofas will.
Where would be an ideal summer home, in California, where a 13 year old can skateboard to the beach, stores nearby, the perfect California image? Please keep it unexpensive. Thanks.
